Collector K C Devsenapati has stated that as many as eight families affected by Maoist violence in the district have received Government jobs.He was chairing a meeting of Naxal Rehabilitation Committee here.
Immediately after the meeting concluded, the residents of Tikanpal under Kuakonda development block were distributed a plasma television, a DTH besides other material. Senapati said that the Chhattisgarh government is working relentlessly to provide assistance to families affected by Maoist violence. Such families are given residential facilities and government jobs, he said.
The Collector said that the villagers would be provided assistance from the district administration and also appealed to them to attend various training programmes organised at the livelihood College.
