Police on Saturday seized 50 kg cannabis valued at Rs 10 lakhs and arrested a man for transporting it to Chhattisgarh from Odisha.
Mahasamund Superintendent of Police Bhojram Patel said Kosal Sahu (33) of Odisha has been taken into custody. The police intercepted a car on National Highway 53 following a tip, he said. The contraband was packed in two gunny bags in the car’s trunk.
