Chhattisgarh Police on Monday seized 70.50 kg of cannabis valued at Rs 14.10 lakhs and arrested a man for transporting it to Uttar Pradesh from Odisha.
Dhamtari Superintendent of Police Prashant Singh Thakur said Damru Hantal (21) of Odisha has been taken into custody.
The police intercepted a car near a checkpost and seized the contraband which was packed in seven plastic bags.
