Special director general of police R. K. Vij directed police officials of all the districts of the state to take up the ‘Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and System’ (CCTNS) as their mission so that Chhattisgarh is placed on the top among the states in implementing the project.
Vij, also a nodal officer of the CCTNS, was addressing the two-day workshop held at PTS Mana, Raipur. He said, “For implementation of the project all police jawans have to work with dedication, honesty and show interest in the work. The districts, police stations along with police personnel will be awarded for better results.”
Assistant inspector general of police, cyber cell and CCTNS Prashant Agrawal while conducting the programme highlighted different technical aspects of the system.
The district CCTNS in-charge and trained computer operators were imparted training on different technical aspects and functioning of the system for two days.
