The Chhattisgarh government on Tuesday issued fresh postings to 37 Indian Administration Service (IAS) officers including 19 district Collectors in a jumbo reshuffle.
The Collectors of Raipur, Durg, Bilaspur, Raigarh, Rajnandgaon, Kabirdham, Korba, Kanker, Bastar, Bemetara, Dantewada, Surguja, Janjgir-Champa, Balod, Kondagaon, Mungeli, Balodabazar-Bhatapara, Sukma and Balrampur-Ramanujganj districts have been changed.
Raigarh Collector Bhim Singh (2008) has been made the Chief Executive Officer of Nava Raipur Development Authority (NRDA) and given additional charge as the Commissioner (Commercial Tax).
2009 batch officer and Raipur Collector Saurabh Kumar will be the Bilaspur Collector now.
Durg Collector Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure (2011) was appointed the Raipur Collector.
Balod Collector Janmejay Mahobe will be the Kabirdham Collector and Rajnandgaon Collector Taran Prakash Sinha is the new Janjgir-Champa Collector.
Dantewada Collector Deepak Soni will take over as the Collector of Kondagaon.
Korba Collector Ranu Sahu has been made the Raigarh Collector. The Special Secretary, Chhattisgarh Health and Family Welfare Department, Dr Priyanka Shukla, will be the Kanker Collector.
