Major General S. Mohan, SM, VSM and General Officer Commanding (Central India), on Thursday performed bhumi pujan for a Sainik Circuit House here. This happened at the Directorate of Chhattisgarh Sainik Welfare and District Sainik office. He also planted saplings. The Gen then addressed the families of martyrs, ex-servicemen, family members of World War II veterans and employees of the Directorate and District Sainik Welfare Office.
He promised that the grievances of the soldiers would be resolved at the earliest, an official communication said.
