In a bid to promote tourism at hilly Mainpat which is classified as Chhattisgarh’s ‘Shimla’, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh is to inaugurate a three-day Mainpat Mahotsava on Friday.
Chhattisgarh Home Minister Ramsevak Paikra would preside over the function.
On inaugural day local artists and students of schools and colleges would present their cultural programme. Playback Singer Sumedha Karmahe, Nagpuria Dance and star comedian Chirag Wadhwani would present their programmes on Friday.
On second day, Bollywood playback singer Mohammad Aziz will perform his programme.
Kavi Sammelan would also be organised on the second day.
Paikra would be the chief guest on the concluding function while Tourism Minister Dayaldas Baghel would preside over the function.
