Former lok Sabha MP from the BJP and party’s candidate for Mayor in Rajnandgaon, Madhusudhan Yadav, has stepped up campaigning on Sunday for civic body elections. Yadav visited ward numbers 6, 10 and 11 where he urged the people to vote for him. The polls for the two-phased urban bodies will be held on Dec 29 and Dec 31.
Yadav visited Shanti Nagar, Chikhli, Dhaba and other areas of the district where he was accorded a rousing welcome by party workers. Addressing a function at Shanti Nagar, Yadav said BJP’s victory is sure certain as people have decided to extend support to the BJP for accelerating development. Yadav insisted that since BJP is in power at the Centre as well as in the State, the all-round development of Rajnandgaon is certain.
