Work done: A number of schools, colleges, Polytechnic and Agriculture colleges have been opened during her tenure in the assembly segment which is hit by Maoist militancy. Roads connecting nearby places and within the Kanker have been upgraded. An amount of Rs 13 crore had been sanctioned by Chattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh for “Nahar-Naali Yojna” in the district.
The State Government had also sanctioned Rs 6 crore for constructing steps on Gariya mountain.

Work done: All the developmental works were taken up with the support of Central government schemes viz. Rashtriya Swasthya Mission, MNREGA, Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana which were announced in 2008-09 and 2010-11.Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde granted Rs 90-92 crores for development projects in Jashpur on an initiative taken by him. Got community halls built besides two High schools, two Higher Secondary schools and a bridge in Paratola and connecting roads. Also got 5 to 6 irrigation schemes completed for benefit of locals.
