State Government on Saturday appointed three social workers on vacant posts of Juvenile Justice Board constituted in three districts of State — Raigarh, Dantewada and Korba.
Divya Tiwari has been appointed in Raigarh district, Babita Pandey has been appointed in Dantewada (South Bastar) district and Vinita Kumbhaj has been appointed in Korba district as social workers in the Juvenile Justice Board.
These members have been appointed on recommendation of State-level selection committee. The State Government’s Women and Child Development Department has issued notification in the context.
The newly-appointed members of the Board will take action in compliance with Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2000 and Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rule 2007.
