Reacting to former Chief Minister Ajit Jogi’s statement in a public rally in Mungeli calling himself as ‘Tiger’ of Chhattisgarh, State BJP president Ramsevak Paikra said that the people of the State have not forgotten the regime of terror and fear during Congress rule in Chhattisgarh.
The BJP workers in politics come with a sense of service for life. They cannot even imagine to do politics through a reign of terror and creating fear among the people, he said. “By calling himself ‘Tiger’, the former Chief Minister is reminding people of the jungle Raj in Chhattisgarh,” Paikra said. He alleged that Jogi crushed the demand raised through democratic means by using force when he was the Chief Minister of the State.
Paikra also alleged that as Chief Minister, Jogi also took police action against his political opponents and BJP workers.
