Election Commission of India (ECI) on Monday allotted Janata Congress Chhattisgarh (JCC) (J) the symbol of 'farmer ploughing within square’.
A JCC (J) Spokesperson informed that the symbol has been allotted to the party from the alternatives they demanded from the ECI. The party had given its preference which was a symbol which displayed the agrarian based economy of the State.
Notably, a delegation of JCC (J), under leadership of party Supremo, Ajit Jogi, on July 6 had approached the ECI and had handed over their application regarding allotment of a party symbol.
