Terming the State Budget as balanced and satisfactory, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), Chhattisgarh Committee Chairman Pradeep Tandon said that Chief Minister Raman Singh's proposed relief on taxes through reasonable tax policy structure of the State will help in promotion of small industries which is need of the hour.
A Provision of development of Industrial zone in Naya Raipur and Rs10 crore to develop Information Technology will further promote the industry, he stated. Tandon also welcomed the decision of deduction of VAT for diesel to 5 % and proposed Mega Food Park in Bagod in Dhamtari District. The Chief Minister’s housing and subsidy scheme for medium/lower income group and BPl family in Naya Raipur will help to build the Smart City” he said.
