To mark the International Yoga Day on June 21, mass yoga demonstration will be held at Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium of capital city, Raipur. The event will commence from 7 a.m. Chief Minister Raman Singh will attend the programme as Chief Guest.
Union Minister of State for Electricity, New and Renewable Energy (Independent In-charge) R.K. Singh and Member of lok Sabha from Raipur Ramesh Bais will preside over the programme. Social Welfare Department and School Education Department are jointly organising the event.
Chairman of Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission Sanjay Agrawal, Mayor Raipur Municipal Corporation Pramod Dubey, MlA Raipur Rural Satyanarayan Sharma, Raipur (North) MlA Shrichand Sundrani, Jila Panchayat Raipur President Mrs. Sharda Verma will attend the programme.
Interested citizens keen to participate in the event are requested to wear simple and suitable attires for mass yoga demonstration.
