Chief secretary Sunil Kumar on Wednesday urged the industrialists to fulfil their corporate social responsibility. The chief secretary urged this holding a joint meeting of the industrialists in the State and senior officials of the State administration.
The Union steel secretary G Mohan Kumar was also present in the meeting, informed in an official statement issued here. The CS Sunil Kumar emphasised the need for greater participation of industrialists in education, health, and drinking water sector. Both Sunil Kumar and G Mohan Kumar gave a patient haring to the industrialists’ grievances and directed the concerned official to take necessary steps to address them. N Baijendra Kumar, principal Secretary of the Housing and Environment, Commerce and Industry, and Forest urged the industrialists to take adequate steps to protect the environment.
