Incessant rain for the past 24 hours has brought normal life in the district to a standstill. Though it provided relief from the humid weather, thundershowers accompanied by lightening forced people to remain in their homes.
The PD Nalla, Devsri Road, Shiv Chowk, Raipur Road, Bathena Ward and several other parts of the district were inundated with rain water.With knee deep water, people, both on foot as well as on bikes and other vehicles, found it hard to pass through the road.
