The In-charge Raipur City Mayor, Manoj Kandoi on Tuesday felicitated Astvinayak Ganesh Utsav Samiti, Fafadih with Eco-friendly ‘Ganeshutsav Award 2012-13.’ The Treasurer of the Samiti, Yagya Prasad Sahu received cash prize of Rs25,000 on behalf of its members. On the occasion, Kandoi requested the sculptors, who have been selected for making best idols of lord Ganesha for ‘Ganeshutsav’ last year, to collect their awards from RMC headquarters at 5 pm on August 21.
