As per the directives of Election Commission of India (ECI) , State Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Subrat Sahoo on Thursday chaired a meeting of all officers of Inspector General of Police (IG) and Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) rank to discuss preparations to be made for upcoming Lok Sabha polls here on Thursday.
The CEO in the meeting issued directives to the officials to prepare the ‘security arrangement plan’ for the Lok Sabha polls in the State, officials informed.
The officials were also directed to prepare the route chart and provide update on the security requirements for all the 11 Lok Sabha constituencies in the State.
