An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) planted by Maoists to target security forces was recovered on Friday in Narayanpur district in Chhattisgarh.
The District Reserve Guard (DRG) recovered the IED weighing 4 kg between the jungles Kodoli and Phulmeta villages, Narayanpur Additional Superintendent of Police Hemsagar Sidar told The Pioneer.
The explosives were destroyed by a bomb disposal squad.
