Asymptomatic and slightly symptomatic Covid-19 positive patients, interested in undergoing treatment through home isolation, will be charged Rs 250 per day for a total of 10 days for tele-advice or video calls.
A joint meeting of the Health Department, the Raipur district administration and the Indian Medical Association (IMA) held on Friday decided that private doctors will provide medical advice to the home isolation patients. A consensus was reached on the money amount.
Health Department officials said that with a spike in the number of Covid-19 cases in Chhattisgarh, many patients, mainly asymptomatic and slightly symptomatic ones, want to remain at home and get treated.
The doctors and patients both will have to follow the Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) and all other guidelines related to Covid-19.
