Hindi does not have competition with any other language; but it has enriched itself from other languages, said Group General Manager (GM) NTPC Korba Prakash Tiwari during the seventh meeting of NTPC's Rajbhasha Coordination Committee held here recently.
"Since the formation of Nagar Rajbhasha Kriyanvayan Samiti in all member offices of NTPC, there has been an increase in responsibility and maturity towards use of Hindi language," he said.
During the meeting, detailed discussion was held over achieving the annual targets set under the programme run by Rajbhasha Department and organizing of Hindi Diwas in the month of September.
The member offices of Nagar Rajbhasha Kriyanvayan Samiti also presented a report over various activities carried out to promote Hindi.
The Group GM then announced a Rolling Trophy for promoting healthy competition between offices for promoting Rajbhasha.
The occasion was marked with presence of NTPC General Manager (Technical Services) S Dakshinmurthy and others.
