Sukma district collector Chandan Kumar has declared two-day holidays (on July 30 and July 31) in all educational institutions and anganbadi centres in view of incessant rains in the area.
The holiday was announced following the report of Meteorological Centre, Raipur that in the next 48 hours Bastar division will witness heavy rains.
Already most of the rivers and rivulets in area mainly Shabri and Malger are over flowing while Jhapra bridge has been inundated cutting off road communication between several panchayats and district headquarters.
