A health camp and health exhibition will be organised here at district hospital on the occasion of International Women’s Day from March 9-12. According to the officials, the health camp is being organised jointly by the Health and Family Welfare Department and Women and Child Development Department.
The screening for breast cancer and other disease of women besides consultation will be provided during the camp. Besides this exhibition, showcasing screening of breast cancer and women centered health services will also be organised, the officials said. Publicity and awareness material will also be distributed on the occasion. A consultation session will be organised for young women and girls to educate them about personal hygiene, officials added.
