Governor Balramji Das Tandon on Monday said that youth should be instilled with patriotic fervour and the teachings of Swami Dayanand Saraswati should be taught in schools and colleges.
The teachings of this great saint should be brought in educational institutions, he said. The Governor expressed his views after conferring with DAV college’s management committee members and top educationist Dr Poonam Suri at Raj Bhavan in Raipur.
Tandon also appreciated the efforts of the DAV Colleges in inculcating Swami Dayanand Saraswati’s teachings among the students all over the country.
Dr Poonam Suri presented the Governor with Shawl, coconut and Tulsi sapling.
