The Chhattisgarh government has stepped up efforts to construct a grand Museum in memory of freedom fighter Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh in Nava Raipur.
Culture Minister Amarjeet Bhagat on Saturday visited the site allotted for the construction of the Museum, said a government statement.
The allotted 10 acres of land is situated in front of the Chhattisgarh State Tribal Research Institute and Museum.
Minister Bhagat told officers to speed up the construction work, the statement added.
“Mention all the important incidents that occurred during the freedom struggle and the contribution made by his followers and the brave heroes of tribal community,” Bhagat said.
