The State Government has invited applications for ‘National Bravery Award’ from courageous children of Chhattisgarh till September 15, 2014.
With the recommendation of District Collector, interested candidates can submit application and all the required documents at Chhattisgarh Child Welfare Council, Mana Camp, Raipur.
Dilip Vasnikar of Women and Child Development Department informed here on Friday that National Child Welfare Council honours brave children of age group 6-18 years with National Bravery Award on the occasion of January 26 every year.
The National Child Welfare Council has invited the applications till September 30, 2014. It should be noted that the incident of bravery should have taken place between July 1, 2013 and June 30, 2014.
It is mandatory to attach required documents as evidence along with the application. At state level, age of the person at the time of the incident should be between 6-18 years. For further details, contact Women and Child Development Officer or District Programme Officer of respective district, he stated.
