nAs a New Year gift to its employees, the Chhattisgarh government is going to provide salary increment and arrears in January.
The Finance department clarified that the government has not stopped the annual increment and its benefits will be provided from January onward, a press release said.
After receiving the Chief Minister’s approval, the annual salary hike of government employees from July 2020 was approved.
The increased amount will be added in the salary from January 2021. The arrears from July 1, 2020 till December 31, 2020 will be also added in the upcoming salary.
Likewise, the salary increment scheduled on January 1, 2021 has also been approved and this will be paid from July 2021 onwards. The arrears of the same duration will be also paid in July 2021.
The Finance department has already released orders for the increment.
