Chhattisgarh Government has allotted 2 lakh 35 thousand 683 quintals of rice for distribution to ration card holders in Bastar Revenue Division this month under Public Distribution System, a government press release informed on Saturday.
As per the allotment orders issued by Food, Civil Supply and Consumer Protection Department, 56 thousand 356 quintals of rice has been allotted to North Bastar (Kanker) district, 55 thousand 093 quintals to Bastar district, 41 thousand 173 quintals to Kondagaon district, 23 thousand 820 quintals to Sukma district, 22 thousand 945 quintals to South Bastar (Dantewada) district, 20 thousand 877 quintals to Bijapur district and 15 thousand 419 quintals of rice to Narayanpur district.
