Empanelment of State Quality Monitors (SQMs) will be done for quality assessment of the roads constructed/under construction in Chhattisgarh under Pradhan Mantrri Gram Sadak Yojana, officials said.
For this, Chhattisgarh Rural Development Agency under Panchayat and Rural Development Department has invited applications from experienced and retired engineers by July 19, according to an official press release issued here on Wednesday.
The retired engineers should have work experience of rank not below Superintending Engineer (Civil). Moreover, the Professors (Civil) of engineering colleges and polytechnic institutes of Chhattisgarh and its neighbouring states, who have experience or equivalent professional qualification in construction and maintenance of roads, may also apply.
