Minister for Cooperatives, Culture and Tourism Dayaldas Baghel on Friday urged the officials to roll out an alternate plan to tide over the possibility of drought in the district in view of deficient rainfall.In a meeting held here, the Minister asked officials to make all efforts to save the Kharif crops.
He said that the Energy Department should make transformers available as per need to ensure the farmers receive adequate electricity for irrigating their farms.The Minister also asked the officials of the Water Resources Department to make water available to farmers keeping in mind the reservoir levels in the district.
