love affair turned out to be costly for a youth of Raipur after a young girl hailing from Uttar Pradesh conned about Rs 2.50 lakh from him by entangling the youth into a fake love affair.
The youth reportedly got good bashing from the family members of the girl after he demanded his money, police said on Monday.According to police Mitthu Sinha(24) resident of Tikarapara has lodged a report in this connection. Police said that the complainant came in contact with the accused Suman Sahu native of Balia district Uttar Pradesh last year.
The complainant told police that he came in contact with the girl through a wrong miscall which the accused had reportedly made. Police further said, soon the victim and accused came close to each other and used to spent good time. The girl then asked the ATM card of victim for purchasing some items from market. The unsuspecting youth readily handed over his ATM card to Suman Shau along with the pin code.
Sometime later Mitthu Sinha gave a cheque to his friend which was dishonored by the bank. He then realised the Rs 80,000 in his account were withdrawn by the girl.
However Mitthu Sinha then also did not realized that how deep he was into the quagmire. later the girl in different installment reportedly took Rs 2.50 lakh from boy and went back to Balia. Mitthu Sinha, police said then realized that he girl had cheated him. He then reached Balia and demanded his money back from the girl.
However the family members of Suman Sahu allegedly beat to him and forced him to go back. Battered Mitthu Sinha then lodged the report with Balia police station in this connection which was later sent to Tikarapara police station for starting the investigation.
