Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday said the Bharatiya Janata Party contributes to price hike while the Congress tries to control inflation.
The announcement of free electricity up to 200 units and Rs 500 subsidy in refilling LPG cylinder were made by the party with this in view, Baghel told an election rally at Mooli in Bastar.
The Congress has made a slew of promises while the BJP has failed to make a single announcement, he said.
Under Raman Singh, the BJP government had indulged in various scams, Baghel said.
He also charged non-fulfillment of election promises of paddy bonus and distribution of jersey cow to tribals by the BJP during the 2013 elections.
