Chhattisgarh Police on Tuesday arrested four persons including a mastermind from Raipur city for stealing gold ornaments and cash totaling Rs 32.97 lakhs last month in Korba district.
Korba Superintendent of Police Bhojram Patel told The Pioneer that the mastermind was Ravi Sahu (32) and his accomplices were Shubham Pandey (22), Ratan Soni (20) and Raju Pandey (47).
All are residents of Raipur City.
On October 26, the owner of a jewellery shop in Raipur reported the theft of 1,100 grams of gold ornaments valued at Rs 30 lakhs and Rs 2.97 lakhs in cash in Korba town.
