The State Government has included five new services such as ‘Gumashta’ license, property transfer, trade license, food retailer registration and public grievance redressal of Urban Administration
and Development Department, in the list of services provided under Public Service Guarantee Act 2011, officials stated.
The Urban Administration and Development Department has issued notification in the context to all Municipal Commissioners, CEOs of Nagar Panchayats, and Municipal Officers on January 2.
The State Government has also notified the designations of officers, authorized official and Appellate Officer designated for these services.
Moreover, duration of 30 days has been fixed for providing these services. Public authority, competent authority and appellate officer for Municipal Corporation will be Commissioner, Municipal Corporation or any officer authorized by the Commission.
likewise, public authority and competent authority Municipal Council and Nagar Panchayats will be Chief Municipal Officer and Appellate Officer for the same will be Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue).
