Under the Chief Minister's Tree Plantation Promotion Scheme, Chhattisgarh Home Minister Tamrajvadh Sahu will on Sunday inaugurate the state’s first ‘Van Pradarshan’ drive from Korea district. Korba Member of Parliament Jyotsana Mahant will be the special invitee on the occasion, an official communication said on Saturday. As many as 43 varieties of saplings including Teak, Shisham, Sal, Bija, Tinsa, Banyan, Peepal and Haldu will be planted in 21 acres at Anai village panchayat. ‘Van Pradarshan’ will be developed in all district headquarters to inform people about the benefits of the scheme, it said.
