A fire destroyed documents on Sunday in a private bank in Durg district of Chhattisgarh destroying documents but no casualties were reported.
The blaze affected the HDFC Bank in Patan block around 9 am, Durg Superintendent of Police Shalabh Kumar Sinha said.
Two fire tenders doused the flames, which destroyed furniture, electronic equipment and documents. Cash lockers and the ATM were not damaged.
It is suspected that a short circuit may have led to the blaze.
