Registration of farmers will be done for purchase of paddy on support price in Bastar district. Additional Collector RR Thakur has directed all Sub Divisional Revenue Officers and Deputy Director, Agriculture of the district to send correct information of the assessment of village-wise paddy area to the district office by August 22, so that information about village, Tehsil and district-wise estimated area of paddy could be uploaded on the website of Food Department.
Directives have been issued to complete Girdawari (record of land cultivation) work in the district by August 30, so that paddy cultivation area of all farmers will be made available with the Patwari. Registration of farmers will be done at the same society where he sells paddy. For the registration of farmers, wide publicity will be made by announcing in the villages.
For registration, the farmer has to give application on prescribed proforma, along with photograph, epic number, mobile number, photocopy of loan book, information about total land area and paddy area. Besides, the farmer has to give information about smart card, PAN, driving licence, Aadhar card, society registration number, ration card number, loan account number and Kisan Credit Card number.
For the verification of application, Patwari, Samiti Sevak and Agriculture Extension Officer, with all records, will be available in the society from September 1 to 30. After verification, applications will be uploaded on the software.
Information about the uploaded applications will be displayed on the website of the Food Department. Action will be taken against those who give wrong information. After solving objections, the Society will complete the registration work by October 15. Appeal can be made against the decision of the society with the Tehsildar. The Tehsildar will hold hearing of the case based on the witnesses and dispose of the case within 15 days.
