Farmers associations on Saturday staged a noisy demonstration here against the farm laws introduced by the Central government but they were prevented from marching to the Raj Bhawan. Raising slogans and holding placards which read “Save Farm, Save Democracy”, the farmers were intercepted near Moti Bagh. They were demanding a rollback of the farm laws which they said would only benefit big businesses.
Dissatisfied over being stopped, they staged a sit-in near Moti Bagh.
