The use of face masks or face covers was on Wednesday made mandatory for all officers and employees working in all the departments of the Secretariat (Mahanadi Bhawan) at Nava Raipur in Chhattisgarh.
An order issued by the General Administration Department said the Public Health and Family Welfare Department had issued the notification amid a resurgence of Covid-19 new variants.
The officers have to ensure that their subordinates comply with the order.
