Due to model code of conduct being effective in Chhattisgarh which awaits the results of the recently held Assembly polls, forest department has suspended written and practical test for direct
recruitment of staff. According to divisional forest officer, written and practical exams for Assistant Programmer scheduled on November 23, for data entry operator on November 25, for short hand steno post on November 27 and assistant grade-3 posts exam scheduled on November 29 have been cancelled by
the Chief Conservator of Forest. Dates for these exams will now be announced after declaration of the poll results on December 8.
