Commenting on the resignation of veteran leader Ghulam Nabi Azad from the Congress, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Friday said everyone in the party was "free" (azad) in terms of thoughts and expressing suggestions.
"Congress me to sab azad hi hote hain. Apne vicharon, apne tarikon, apne sujhawon se," he tweeted in Hindi.
"Who stopped any leader or worker from taking to the streets with the party flag during the time of struggle," he said.
In his five-page letter to Sonia Gandhi, Azad singled out Rahul Gandhi, saying he had demolished the ‘consultative mechanism’ in the Congress and let a ‘new coterie’ of ‘inexperienced sycophants’ run the party.
