People having dwellings on land lease and residing on the land of NMDC ltd, Railways and Forest Department in Bacheli would soon have power supply connections.
A decision regarding the same was taken at Public Grievances Redressal Camp chaired by District Collector Saurabh Kumar here.
Kumar in the camp held at Municipal Council, Bacheli assured residents that electrification in their dwellings would be done within three months.
At the camp, he also appealed to the workers to enroll their names in labour Department so that they could be benefitted with the government schemes.
The District Collector also took note of arrangements of potable water supply in Bacheli in view of summer season and instructed the concerned officials to make necessary arrangements to meet any emergencies.
On the occasion, six beneficiaries were distributed lPG connection under Prime Minister Ujjawala Scheme; promotional amount of Rs 10,000 each was distributed to 19 Self Help Groups (SHGs) under the Deendayal Antyodaya Urban livelihood Mission, ration cards were distributed to 40 beneficiaries while correction and addition of names was done on the cards of 22 persons.
A total of 1376 applications of grievances were received in the camp for redressal and all of them were resolved by the Administration.
Senior officials of various government departments and citizens in large numbers were present in the camp.
