The South East Central Railway (SECR), Raipur division on Thursday conducted an exhibition to display works to promote official language ‘Hindi’ in different departments under the division.
Moreover, several competitions were also organised on the occasion to mark the ongoing Hindi Fortnight.
Documental works done by different departments for promotion of Hindi were showcased in the exhibition, said Public Relation Officer (PRO) Ratan Basak, elaborating that observing the document works of departments, Division Railway Manager (DRM) Rahul Gautam accompanied by Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM) Vivek Khare closely reviewed the works ongoing for promotion of the officials language.
Praising the works done by departments in the division, the DRM suggested Divisional Rajbhasha Secretary Dr Sanjeev Kumar Mishra to keep continuing the work for publicity of Hindi, added Basak.
Meanwhile, Gautam also interacted with chiefs of different departments to take stock of works ongoing in their respective departments for promotion of the official language. Besides, DRM also gave specific directives in this regard.
Basak further informed that several competitions were hosted to mark ongoing Hindi fortnight which include quiz, essay writing, draft writing and others.
