Chhattisgarh health and family welfare minister T.S. Singhdeo instructed the Autonomous Committee of Super Specialty Hospital to issue a new tender for all the facilities being rendered at the hospital.
He was holding a review meeting of the DKS Post Graduate Institute and Research Centre, Raipur on Wednesday at New Circuit House conference hall.
Meeting decided to make the DKS hospital as first referral centre under ‘Chirayu’ scheme.
Minister said there is a need for a new beginning at the DKS Hospital so that people can get best treatment and services at low cost.
He directed to cancel all works being undertaken without departmental sanction and other processes. The payments should not be released for such works, he directed.
The sanction was also given for new building for accommodation of patients’ family members and Central Medicine store. Sanction was also given for recruitment of lecturers and professors in vacant posts.
Singhdeo also directed to vacate the pharmacy and other shops immediately and reallocate them through due process. It should support the income of hospital. Direction was also given for fire security and electricity related audit through certified agency in the hospital.
