Chief Minister Raman Singh chaired a Cabinet meeting in the main Committee Room of the Chhattisgarh Assembly and directed officials to distribute compensation to the farmers affected by rain and hailstorm in the State.
He also directed officials to carry out survey of damage to crops at the earliest and distribute compensation to the farmers.
The Cabinet also decided to take a loan of Rs 3357 crore for implementation of the approved and proposed projects of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana -Housing for All (Urban Mission).
The loan would be taken by State Urban Development Authority for a 20 year period from 2017-18 to 2036-37.
