Various developmental works related with Raipur city were reviewed during a meeting chaired by State Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Rajesh Munat here on Saturday.
The meeting among other projects discussed increasing seating capacity of late Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium at Budha Talab locality from 2,500 to 4,500 seats and beautification works of various squares were among the projects reviewed in the presence of Raipur Mayor Pramod Dubey and other senior officials.
The Minister informed in the meeting that PWD for expansion work of indoor stadium has made a proposal of `8.99 crore and August 15, 2016 is the deadline for completion of works. likewise, fund of `34.14 crore has been proposed for beautification work of 53 different squares in different parts of the city.
The tendering process related with beautification work of squares should be completed soon , Munat said .
