State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Spokesperson Sanjay Srivastava (in pic) on Friday stated that the newly elected Congress legislature Party (ClP) leader TS Singh Deo had been making empty statements to register his political presence in the State.
While reacting to Singh Deo’s demand for a White Paper on Jhreeram Ghati massacre by Maoists from the BJP, Srivastava in a statement here said that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) is in the process of investigating the episode and its report could be released anytime now. “If the Congress leaders are in such a hurry to get the NIA report released, they can demand early release of the report from the Prime Minister,” he said.
Srivastava said that the Congress party leaders had been issuing statements by sensing the lok Sabha polls. If the Congress party leaders are so serious about early release of NIA report, they must demand its release from the Centre so that action could be taken on the culprits, he said.
