The growing rich-poor divide in India is a BJP plot aimed at destroying the lives of millions of poor for the sake of a select few, Chhattisgarh Health Minister T.S. Singh Deo said on Tuesday.
The Minister tweeted this in his official social media handle.
Citing media reports, Singh Deo said 1 percent of the country's population had accumulated 40.6 percent of all wealth.
The poorest 50 percent population in the country had to satisfy with 3 percent of wealth, he said.
“It is no hidden truth that our economy is going through a dangerous situation and to hide its incompetence the BJP has constantly tried to use its lies and deceit,” Singh Deo said.
