The Judicial Probe Commission formed by the Chhattisgarh Government to probe an encounter which took place in May 2013 at village Edasmeta (Gangaloor police station jurisdiction) in Bijapur district, has extended the last date for submission of representations, affidavits and documents etc till September 2014, an official statement informed on Saturday.
“This is the last opportunity (Sep 30) given by the Commission to the people concerned for submission of evidences,’’ the statement added.
Officer on Special Duty (OSD) of Pandri, Raipur based Judicial Probe Commission Office has notified people that any kind of evidences related to the incident can be submitted at Commission Office by September 30. Commission office is situated in Chhattisgarh State Consumer Commission premise at Pandri (Raipur).
