The damaged Railway under-bridge about 15 kilometre from Jagdalpur on Kirandul-Kotwalsa line is standing on the pillars installed temporarily.
Notably, the Kirandul-Kotwalsa Railway line is utilised mainly for transportation of iron ore and the the Railways earns more than Rs700 crore per year from the East coast zone, sources said. The route is extensively used for transportation of iron ore. The under-bridge, about 15 km from Jagdalpur is damaged and iron pillars have been placed from beneath as temporary support.The pillars have been installed temporarily so that the transportation of iron ore is not disrupted, sources informed.
